How to make Veg Manchuria Recipe :  Vegetable Manchuria is popular cuisine from Indo Chinese origin which is a spicy fast food generally people opt when they need some spicy, hot, juicy, crispy food item. Vegetarian Manchuria is a snack item which people generally like to consume in the evening and night times. Here is the detailed information on how to make Veg Manchuria Recipe .

Ingredients for Veg Manchuria Recipe :

Items required to make veg balls:

  • Cabbage : 1 ½ cup chopped
  • Carrot : 1/2 cup grated
  • Capsicum : ½ cup grated
  • French beans : ½ cup chopped
  • Spring onions : 3 tbsps chopped
  • Plain flour : ½ cup
  • Corn flour : ½ cup
  • Ginger garlic : 2 tbsp pasted
  • Pepper : 1 tbsp powdered
  • Oil : as required for frying
  • Salt : 1 tbsp

Items needed to make Manchuria :

  • Spring onions : ¼ cup chopped
  • Capsicum : ¼ cup grated
  • Garlic : ½ tbsp chopped
  • Ginger : ½ tbsp chopped
  • Oil : 1 1/2 tbsp
  • Soya sauce : 1 tbsp
  • Red chilli sauce : 2 tbsp
  • Vinegar : 1 tbsp
  • Corn flour : 1 tbsp
  • Water : as required to mix corn and to dissolve vegetables
  • Red chilli powder : 1tbsp
  • Sugar : a pinch
  • Pepper : 1 tbsp powdered

Procedure for making veg balls:

Take a bowl, add chopped and grated and vegetables, plain flour, corn flour, ginger garlic paste, salt and pepper. Mix it well. If you prefer balls to be crispy add bread crums to it. Heat pan, pour oil as required for deep fry. Let it heat for 1 min. Now make balls out of prepared mixture. Drop each balls into oil once it got hot. After dropping leave the balls for 1 minute so that texture will become little hard to turn the balls ( make sure balls should not break in oil).

After some time turn the fried ball, stir it occasionally until it becomes golden color. Take out balls and drop them on paper tissue to remove excess oil from balls.

Procedure for making Veg Manchuria Recipe:

Take other pan and heat oil in it. Add ginger garlic paste and saute it till it takes out dry smell. Add spring onions and capsicum and stir it to avoid sticking to pan or burning. Mean while, mix corn flour with water without forming lumps. Add soya sauce, red chilli sauce, red chilli powder by lowering flame. Mix everything well. Now add corn flour batter into the pan and stir it. Pour water if it is necessary. After stirring it gently, add vinegar, salt, pepper powder and sugar to add taste to it. Mix it well and taste it ( it should taste spicy, sour and Sweet). Keep stirring the mixture till it forms thick layer, don’t keep it for more time to become thicket. It will be more thicker after taking out from heat. If you feel sauce has formed enough thickness take out from stove and leave it for 15-20 minutes to become cool. Now add veg balls to the sauce ( adding balls after cooling of sauce will not take out balls crispiness).
